I have a 2006 Suzuki DRZ400 “S model” I want to swap the original front rotor (disc) for a SM Model 310mm front rotor (disc). I want to use my original front break caliper; I therefore need a caliper adapter plate to make this possible.

Can any one tell me where I can buy this caliper adapter plate to accommodate the 310mm rotor (disc) or does any one have drawings / CAD models for it ???????

as far as I know there were some adapters for 320 mm brake discs. I think Tigermoto has some in the shop from BRAKING I think. Mine is from HE. But I'd also recommend using a matching 320 mm disc.

right, 310 dosn´t fit DRZ/S and the sports models E/Y - maybe with a self made adapter, but i never have seen such a combination

otherwise; for DRZ/S forks are 320mm Discs and adapters plug´n play available -
btw- u may mean an oversize rotor for offroad use? there are adapters and discs in 270mm available

Good point! There are those disc and adapter kits for offroad use with 270 mm which I will use for my DR-Z as well.
I'm also using a DR-Z front for my DR800S with an adapter for 320 mm brake discs, since this bike is almost the double weight of a DR-Z...

UPDATE 310mm SM disc/rotor caliper extension bracket search UPDATE

Having been in contact with 2 people who have historically fabricated such brackets and bought one from the other side of the world, then paid customs charges only to find it overhung the 310mm disk by 5mm, my advice would be :-

Buy a recognized, off the shelf, 320 disc/rotor and caliper extension bracket kit !!!
